This show was absolutely brilliant. I attended all three shows in Amsterdam. U2 were in great form all three nights, Bono's voice is absolutely great again (compared to the Elevation tour) and the band was playing like it was their first tour ever.

What can I say that hasn't already been said before. The surprises were amazing. The last three songs absolutely were the apotheosis of my U2-week. Original of the Species was so great to hear live. And Miss Sarajevo, Bono with tears in his eyes performing the Pavarotti solo. Those were absolute highlights. And yes, for the very first time in my U2 concert carreer (since Ahoy 1992), the classic "40" ended the show. Unbelievable.
Mind you, of course the rest of the concert was also great. One, Pride, With or Without you, to name but a few, were all great performances. And Streets once again made the whole stadium shake.

And yes, the sound in the Arena is horrible. And yes, please come back to de Kuip in Rotterdam. But yes: even in the Arena U2 is magic.
