The greatest rock'n'roll show on earth has just rocked Perth!!! :)

This was the first time Perth has seen U2 since they were here on the Lovetown tour, and the crowd certainly let them know they were missed! The Burswood is not a huge place and it really felt though Bono was able to reach everyone in there. ( especially when Bono did a complete circuit of the arena during I Will Follow! ) It would also appear that the Burswood also wasn't quite large enough to fit all the stage! There was no toothpick & olive!!!! Bono said quite sadly that they lost the olive in Santiago, but I think it is more like it just didn't fit! ( the arch was pretty much touching the roof ) We'll just have to wait until Melbourne to see what the story is!

The crowd were a bit slow to start during Mofo but got into it pretty quickly. One highlight and a great surprise was the inclusion of Bad. This really brought the house alive and it sounded just awesome. Bono dedicated One to Michael Hutchence and his face adourned the screens during Wake Up Dead Man.

Amidst all the debate for the prices of the Perth tickets, Bono thanked the U2 fans for paying the 'large amounts of money to come and see the show' This was a great show to kick off the Aussie leg and was well worth the wait.
