Any U2 show is an amazing experience. Let's just get that part out of the way. But for those who saw them both nights in Philly, the second show wasn't quite the same as the first night.

Of course, the obvious reason was Bono didn't feel well. But with the exeception of a few noticeable moments -- the climax of New Year's Day, Kite, and the end of All I Want Is You -- Bono battled hard and really pushed himself. That was great to see.

They cut the set list short a bit, probably due to his illness. But hearing the full version of All I Want Is You was cool, and The Fly was right on again.

And to those people in my section (207) who sat down during The Fly, you are not real U2 fans in my book. In fact, the people in my section only stood for the big hits, which is lame. The crowd was good for the second night, but not nearly as intense as the first night.

Still, this sounds like a negative review, and it's not. U2 was great, if not remarkable, Tuesday in Philly. The Edge alone on this tour is worth the price. But this show wasn't a classic like Monday's.
