It's now Saturday morning and my head is still humming to Zooropa. I have seen every U2 tour (most multiple times) since Joshua Tree and each album is authentically layered on top of the next. I am a fan of the band, not just the music.

June 22nd 2011's Baltimore show was one of the best I have ever seen. We were a group of about 20 friends most of whom had never seen the band live before and I can confidently say that 30 years into it, U2 can still bring new fans into the fold.

Zooropa, Until the End of the World, Amazing Grace, I Will Follow, I Still Haven't Found What I am Looking For, and Where the Streets Have No Name were incredible highlights. I did miss Magnificent and sense that Pride and Sunday Bloody Sunday can be given a rest for a while. Without a doubt, "40" is my favorite concert finisher, would have liked to have heard it.

Being from Baltimore, I was able to plan our parking, tailgating, and exit. If you knew what you were doing, everything went smoothly. I am so grateful that we were able to host this show. I cannot wait for Philly.
