This show was awesome! I have seen 11 shows on the last six tours over 21 years and this one was all I could have expected and more! First show back at the Garden after 9/11 and the Garden on the Achtung Baby tour were better, but this show quickly moves to 3rd on the list.
Bono was fine, a little scratchy at times but still brought the power. The band was amazing. Hearing I Will Follow and Electric Co. back to back brought me back to 1983. My first U2 album was Under a Blood Red Sky, and hearing those songs reminded me of why I joined the U2 bandwagon in the first place. These guys rock hard!
I may not get to see them again this tour, so I certainly am not bitter aboout this setlist. Sure, I wouldn't have minded a bit more Achtung Baby (Zoo Station and The Fly encore definitely helped)and maybe a Party Girl, but so what. I got Bad and a full on "40". Nothing better, nothing!
