In New York I found a friend, to drown out the other voices...friends like a guy with "One" tattooed on his back in several different languages, friends like a girl named Ruth who played and sang "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" with the band, friends like a girl in an "I Love NY" T-shirt, friends chanting "New York Yankees!", and friends chanting "USA!" I also saw friends memorialized on U2's video screens who were aboard flights on 9/11 (peace to you Mickey and Rhama), and we all saw friends and family who were NYPD or FDNY. And of course, our best friends of the evening, U2. And it was all these friends who drowned out the other voices, the voices of fear, hatred, despair, and loss, and replaced them with the sounds of NYC united!

U2, on this third-leg, is still keeping their promise of elevating our hearts, our minds and our souls. This MSG show was an amazing experience. It really cannot be said enough times, and with enough emphasis, that U2 are truly the greatest band in the world. The crowd was amazing as well, much louder this time than at other U2 shows I've been to. Every song seemed to ring out a certain relevance to the current events, which made the show that much more special. All the songs sounded great, and in my opinion, Kite, One and Peace on Earth/Walk On bore the most relevance. Who am I kidding though...every U2 song is relevant!!

All in all, an incredible experience. Thank you U2. Fourth leg anyone??
