To try to think of a superlative that hasn't been used concerning this tour is a futile effort. Last night's show in St. Louis was simply amazing. U2 never fails to deliver. Whether you've seen them dozens of times or for the first time, you always think you've seen one of the best concerts ever. With this one definitely being my last show, it was funny watching them walk off stage and wondering how long it will be before they come back and what the next tour will be like. (There has to be a next tour.)

St. Louis hightlights - Bono singing Sunday Bloody Sunday and holding the American flag just a couple of feet from me ("Wipe your tears away"); the playful version of Knockin' on Heaven's Door with the new band members was really fun; Please was very raw and emotional; I Still Haven't Found was the best version that I've heard in years! Loved Marley's Three Little Birds on the end; crowd sang Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses like crazy; Streets was incredible as it is every night; nice to hear a nearly complete Peace on Earth. Basically, it was the kind of show that can hold you over for four years if necessary. It was also the kind of show that makes up for 13 hours of sitting in the cold and rain. The show has changed a lot since I first saw it in Atlanta in March and I'm so thankful that I've been able to see six shows and watch it change and develop. Can't wait to do it all again in a few years.
