Inside, it rains heavily for the first half of the show, prompting Bono to sing about the weather several times. All of the band's new songs -- except "Return of the Stingray Guitar" -- are dropped so this new audience can hear a few more of U2's big hits. Yuri Shevchuk, the lead singer of Russian band DDT, joins U2 on stage for "Knockin' on Heaven's Door." Bono announces that Mikhail Gorbachev is at the show, but that news gets only a lukewarm reception.
