Comments: U2's first show in Raleigh happens under a gorgeous full moon, and Bono sings the Paul McCartney/Wings song 'C Moon' at length at the end of Beautiful Day. There's a stunning moment during Sunday Bloody Sunday when Bono takes a fan's 'People Get Ready' sign, starts to sing the song while the band continues playing SBS, then throws his mic into the crowd so the fan can sing more of People Get Ready. The fan nails it and tosses the mic back to Bono. Bono gives a shout-out to the U2 academic conference that's happening in town this weekend, and pays tribute twice to conference speaker Agnes Nyamayarwo, who's at the show and recently had a birthday.
