U2 360 Tour Rumors

U2tours.com reader Josh M. emailed to let us know that OneRepublic have dropped a hint that they'll be opening for U2 during the 2011 U2 360 tour.

Speaking earlier this week to the Italian newspaper, La Stampa, U2 manager Paul McGuinness seemed to suggest that U2 will continue touring into 2012.

Reports in Mexico continue to suggest U2 will play at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City on May 30, 2010. This article says that both MTV and WARP magazine have reported U2's plans, including ticket sales that are said to start on either December 5 or December 8. Again, U2/Live Nation have not made any official announcements yet about shows in Mexico. (Thx JE)

U2tour.de reports that the Italian ticket seller TicketOne.it is listing two U2 concerts in Italy in 2010: August 6 at Olympic Stadium in Turin, and October 8 at Olympic Stadium in Rome. U2/Live Nation has not confirmed these dates, so consider them a rumor for the time being.

Croatian media are reporting rumors that U2 may play a show in Split, Croatia, in the summer of 2010.

The Pioneer Press of Minneapolis/St. Paul dropped a rumor that U2 may play at TCF Bank Stadium on the campus of the University of Minnesota next June.

According to an article on the New Zealand web site, Stuff, negotiations are continuing for U2 to play two concert next year in Wellington.

Reports out of Brazil say that U2 will play a total of four shows there in November, 2010.

According to this article, U2 will play National Stadium in Santiago, Chile, on March 5, 2010.

There are a couple reports that U2 may be planning to end the U2 360 tour with a gig in Ireland.
