Comments: Bono appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to promote his memoir, Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story and subsequent Stories of Surrender book tour. He performed a reworked version of "With Or Without You" that opened with Bono reciting a spoken word piece about his and Ali's first home. Bono also sat for a lengthy interview that featured snippets of several songs, some sung with Stephen Colbert.
