Comments:

U2 performs at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25th Anniversary concerts. "Because The Night" is done with Bruce Springsteen and Patti Smith. The first try is a wreck, so they do it again and then redo the intro a third time. Springsteen stays on stage for "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For." The Black Eyed Peas join U2 for "Where Is the Love?," with Bono singing a bit of "One" at the end. Mick Jagger and Fergie sing "Gimme Shelter" with U2 as their backing band. Jagger stays on to duet with Bono on "Stuck In a Moment You Can't Get Out Of." Though U2 are given a one-hour slot and said to have 12 songs planned, their set is shorter. A setlist distributed before the show says U2 will play for 41 minutes (the actual time is longer due to the "Because The Night" redo).
