U2 return to Arizona, where the original Joshua Tree tour started 30 years ago.

Bono mentions Cindy and John McCain, who are at the show, during “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.”

“Miss Sarajevo,” with filmmaker Bill Carter in the house, makes a return to start the encore, after missing all previous 3rd leg shows.

Bono namechecks Olympian Michael Phelps, who’s also at the show, during “Beautiful Day.”

During “One,” Bono asks the crew to turn off the lights and the rest of the song is performed in near dark with no spotlights or screen images. A snippet of “Drowning Man” morphs into a “Viva Mexico” chant, paying tribute to the people suffering from a major earthquake that hit Mexico City earlier in the day.

Other notable celebrities at the show include Anton Corbijn, David Spade and former Arizona MLB pitcher Randy Johnson.
