Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum opened in 1923 as a memorial to Los Angeles vetrans of World War I.
It has hosted two Olympics (1932 and 1984) and is scheduled to host a record breaking third in 2028. It has been the home of the University of Southern California Trjojans (college football) since it opened and has been home to the Los Angeles Chargers, Rams, and Raiders (professional football), and the University of Californla Los Angeles Bruins (college football). The former Brooklyn Dodgers moved into the Coliseum in 1958 and remained until Dodger Stadium was completed for the 1962 Major League Baseball season.
