I drove down to Toronto from Montreal for the show since for this leg at least the band isn't coming here. After having seen U2 8 times in previous tours I was really looking forward to it.
Needless to say while the performance was great, something just wasn't right and I was happy to read the other reviews and see that I wasn't dreaming, the Toronto crowd was pretty terrible, at least compared to the Montreal crowds I am used to.
The setlist was very good but not great, I'm not a big fan of Moment of Surrender as the closer. I'm happy I didn't stick around for tonight's show and I'm looking forward to seeing the show on Sunday with what will hopefully be a much better crowd in Boston.
