Well it was the biggest concert ever held in Adelaide and boy was it a night to remember. I figure my position in the inner zone right next to the B-stage on Edge's side was a perfect spot to view the show from.
So anyway Kanye came on at 7 and was suprisingly well received by those of us in the inner zone, after he left you could feel the excitement building up, and then bang! the lights went off and WAKE UP started playing, and then you could see four familiar figures in the darkness...
From there it was a blur of great song after great song, although it was quite hard to hear the backing tracks (eg intro to Streets and One), however we gave our full voice at the end of every song.
An interesting note, Bono referred to the stadium as Telstra instead of AAMI, possibly thinking he was still in Sydney!
Also at one point he got a pillow from someone in the crowd and laid down on the stage! At the end when he let the kite go someone in the crowd grabbed it.
It would take too long to describe the concert fully, all you need to know is that the band were in top form and that they made up for being away so long.
