This was not only my second U2 concert, but my second concert period, and the first time I've ever been in the ACC (Air Canada Center). Everything about the show was great except my seats; not the location they were in but the actual seating. But by god, when the boys started making their way on stage, everybody started getting louder and louder, dare I say the noise began "elevating".
The songs were amazing, from new classics like "elevation", "beautiful day" and "walk on", to timeless gems like "Pride", "Where the Streets have no Name", and "With or Without You". The way they used the monitors was evident of their overall creativity. But hats off to Bono, or as we were to call him "Daddy". I think my brother, who was with me said it best; "There's something about a new baby that just seems to give a dad that little extra spark in what he does".
All in all, a truly magnificent evening, a great concert, and terrific music. I just hope that the next time they go touring, they come back to Toronto; and hopefully next time I'll have a seat that can't be used as a vice as well.
