My husband and I have been fans from the early days!! We fell in love during the Joshua tree tour and we've been fans and seen all the tours together ever since.
We saw the Vertigo tour in Amsterdam this summuer and were completely blown away! Nothing like singing along with 50,000+ other voices to know that the spirit was in the house!!
Saw the 12th, 14th and the 17th shows in Toronto!! We had GA's and got into the ellipse each night! What a blessing!!! Words cannot convey how our hearts and spirits soared on a musical journey to be remembered evermore!
All the shows were special! We met so many wonderful U2 fans and one in particular caught Larry's drum stick. It was great cause earlier in the show he told me how he like the song LOPOE; so I told him where to stand in the ellipse to catch a great view of Larry and Bono performing the song. Too much, it was his first U2 show! What a way to get baptized in U2!!!
From seeing the boys play rock & roll, to hearing such wonderful newly added 3rd leg songs like, Fast Cars, Discotheque, The Ocean, In a Little While, Bad and all the usual favourites, like Streets, One, and Electric Co. was incredible!
Having the pleasure of sharing in a few of U2's rock & roll moments of collaborations with the likes of Daniel Lanios and Eddie Vender was truly inspiriing and ever so joyful to behold!! Giving thanks for the blessings!! Yahweh!!!
