This Sunday night show was one of the best that I have ever been to. You can tell that Bono knows how to captivate a crowd and he sure captivated us. Like most other reviews, I agree that the new songs were greeted with excitement from the crowd, but not with the same enthusiasm as the old songs. U2 is best known for their older stuff anyway. You could feel the energy waves that surged through the audience, regardless of the fact that most of us had never seen each other before, we were all connected by this awesome music. The show lasted well over two hours, but when it was over you still didn't want to leave.
Third Eye Blind opened with a pretty good set. I was impressed. I have never been to a show with so many people singing together. It was a great heart-warming experience.
