Hi U2tours
I just wanted to write and tell you about the last concert u2 had in Honolulu Hawaii on 9th December 2006. I won a competition on local radio station and went there with my husband Ricky. We had the most fantastic time, we stayed at a hotel in Maui and flew up to Honalulu on a private jet. As well as being in paradise, we were overwhelmed with this concert-the 18th I have been to. Although I have to mention a couple there who also won a competition (from Manchester) fell asleep after about 5 songs. I had to say to them that I was offended that they could fly halfway round the world then fall asleep at a U2 concert. The last song they sang was All I Want Is You and that was very special as it was the 1st song we had played at our wedding 5 years previous. The atmosphere was`nt the best I have felt. That honour would go to the concert U2 played at Slane Castle in Dublin on 24th August 2001. The day after Bono buried his father and all the members of U2 were pictured in all the newspapers carrying his dads coffin. I cried most of the way through that day. Finally can I finish by saying that U2 songs have got me through my life (good times and bad).
