It is a relief to see U2 get back to the basics of what they do best: live performance! Zoo TV, as great as it was visually, kept the band confined to a rigid set list with little time for interaction or improvisation. This concert was 10x better than their Zoo TV tour!! The set list was exceptional, with the new songs holding their own with "classic" U2! Highlights: Elevation, Kite, Bad, One, Streets...on and on! America West Arena is not the best place for a concert acoutically, with echo reverberating on certain songs. Would love to see this tour hit some large outdoor venues!!
Bono was in fine voice (a concern due to the added Anaheim shows) and the band seems to understand the special connection AZ fans have with the band. Best concert in years!
