U2 had a great show as usual, this time to end the tours of all tours. It was great to see "mysterious ways" so early in the setlist, as well as the acoustic "in god's country". Although I prefer a full band version of "please", I appreciated the chance just to hear my favorite song off of "Pop". I've had mixed feelings about the versions of "whats going on" and "knockin on heaven's door" being played at the shows, because they are performed at the expense of "the fly" or "with or without you", but oh well. It was nice to see Bono improvising lyrics for "knockin" while Edge was giggling. All in all, great show, but nothing that seperated it from the rest. It would have been nice to see something special to close the tour, which only makes me wonder...south america? asia? australia? Maybe they'll record an EP in between. I think they'll be back on the road soon...
