Everything the reviewers so far have said is what I heard in person, all day after having arrived at the AAA at 3 pm - "you're in for a treat; it's like a religious experience" etc. Why did they tell me that? Because it was my FIRST U2 concert EVER (believe it or not). I've been a fan since I first saw them on MTV ('80?) singing "Gloria." Life takes turns we don't expect, and I just never got to see them. Well, NOW I'VE SEEN THEM AND IT WAS AWESOME, PRICELESS!!! What made it surreal, ideal, and magical?? Well, a nice couple I met in the GA line in the early afternoon turned out to be the most awesome people I could meet. I met them and few others early on. Then, I went to the south side to see the boys arrive...that was cool. Then, around 6 pm, went back to get in the GA line (#255). Lost track of the couple, but met up with a couple guys I had met. When the announcement came about scanning the tix (which I knew about already) and who you could take to the Ellipse with you, we made a pact that we'd see if we could get in together. Well, the couple in front of them scanned Vertigo (I knew our the odds were poor); their tix said "proceed to floor" and so did mine. I started walking with them to "the floor" and something pulled me back. I stopped, turned around, and there was that couple, and she was excited, though not screaming. I asked her "you got it?" and she said "yes." The staff guy asked "how many?" They answered "2!" I leaned over and said "3!" He said "oh, are you together?" and I said enthusiastically "Yes!" and he proceeded to give us instructions. Well, my first u@ concert and I was third row to the left of the stage. Words cannot express the time I had. They are wonderful and I cannot wait til there next tour. Thanks to Audrey and Mark!!! You guys are awesome!!!
