Ears still ringing ... holy cow, kids!
Bono was in a mood tonight. Kinda bouncy at times, and really worked well with the audience. Pulled the kid onstage for "Sunday Bloody Sunday". That boy will have something to tell the classmates Monday at middle school.
Bono's voice was strong, and crowd was appreciative. Energy was there. Bono blew a lyric in "Stuck in a Moment" (got ears/eyes mixed up ... he seemed to amuse himself at that unfortunate turn...)
Good to hear the likes of "Electric Co." live. That one full-blown roared. Never really warmed up to "Love and Peace or Else" on the album, but the thing took on new life live. All the HTDAAB stuff was terrific. "Yahweh" and "40" at the end. Pass the plate. Nice benediction.
All in all, spectacular show. No one can pull it off like these boys do. Guys n' gals down the Vertigo road can look forward to something special. (Like that's any big surprise...)
