My second U2 concert and the first for my wife. The two drunk ladies directly behind us were a comical addition to the otherwise uplifting almost spiritual U2 performance. It was particularly amusing when one of them screamed out "Bono, I want to have your baby - NOW!". Enjoyed the Miss Sarajevo at the midway point of the main set. Bono's voice was crisp and he pulled off the opera section superbly. It was also a time to gear up for the rest of the show. I agree with other posters that it temporarily halted the energy level, but it was beautifully performed. Angel of Harlem was the suprise of the night and the mystery fan was an inspiration to all of us. When he went on stage, he went for all of us who have dreamed of performing as one of the boys. I'm glad to hear he was just a fan and not planted. Really enjoyed the Love, Peace or Else and Sunday Bloody Sunday transition. After buying my tickets from a broker, I had a little buyers remorse from spending so much on a concert. But while singing along to the chorus of '40' at the end of the show, I was thinking that was the best money I'd spent in long time...
