For some reason I wasn't really looking forward to this show as much as I had previous ones. I had even considered selling my tickets, especially when I saw that seats in my section were going for six or seven hundred dollars each. All I can say is, I'm glad I didn't.

This was my seventh time seeing U2, and after letting the experience soak in for a couple of days, I can honestly say it was the best I've even seen them. I didn't think they could top the post - 9/11 shows, but I was wrong. The sound was incredibly loud (at one point I honestly thought I might suffer some ear damage) but it was absolutely perfect. The setlist, although fairly standard, was great. Highlights in my opinion were Beautiful Day (the Sgt. Pepper's bit at the end was great) and Miss Sarajevo, but the whole show was incredible. I had waited for a long time to hear The Electric Co. live, and all I can say is that I wasn't disappointed. This was the absolute highlight of the show for me, although I have to say that the guy who got on stage for Angel of Harlem was great to see. He did a great job, and everybody loved it.

The only negatives that come to mind: 1)I agree with others who have posted here that Streets isn't quite as powerful as it has been on previous tours (don't know if it's the lack of house lights, or what) -- but it's still incredible, and
2) for some reason, my tickets seemed to be in the only section in the arena where some people were sitting down. It didn't take away from the show, but it's a bit of a bummer to have mopers around you (and all of these people were young -- I didn't get it).

Even the negatives I've listed, though, couldn't keep me from rating this show a 10 out of 10. Incredible.
