Ok, we had the world premiere of the U2-only version of "Miss Sarajevo", and we had the world premiere of a full-band version of "Original of the species" (dedicated to the late Herman Brood), including a keyboard player whose name I did not catch (yes people, there were 5 men on stage!).
That, combined with a rare rendition of "Who's gonna ride your wild horses" and "'40'", makes for easily the best night out of the three Amsterdam nights and that in itself means that it was something special!
I was there on wednesday as well and thought that was a bit of a party, but tonight beat it hands down! Here's to hoping it won't take another 4 years to return ...
