3rd Night
What can you say.
Was the band tired of playing this venue for a third time, or we're there so many people going for the 3rd time everyone was physically tired and emotionally not surprised by the few Tricks the show has. or prepared of course.
I guess it was all these reasons. The show off course exploded but in u2 terms it all was a bit normal. and again everyone felt it was the 3rd night for the band as well it was for the band.
Don't get me wrong it was great fun AGAIN! but then they played Wild Horses. A first this european tour if i'm correct. So experienced as the boys are they felt it was time to push up this gig a little bit. As most bands will turn out there most extreme party songs at moments like these U2 pulled out Miss Sarajevo and the night was turned.
I think i'm right when i say they only played this in Sarajevo in the Popmart tour. i'm not sure.
I'm sure about the impact this had on this evening.
We all 50.000 enjoyed the rest off the usual setlist as it was our 1st U2 gig.
But then they even play Species which was off course great and then for the 1st time this european leg they played it ... "40 "
Off course it was sung even when i took a piss outside the stadium. and in metro, train...car..
the concert went along... sort of speak. :-)
So will these 3 days in Amsterdam.
Thanks Bono, Edge, Adam And Larry, for taking this tour to this town. Vertigo 2005 is A piece of Art.
Greetings From Zaandam Emnile Blokland
