Just got back from Amsterdam 20/7.. have to say it was good to see the boys again.. it had been way too long!
We made it into the inner circle, slightly behind Edge. The 360 degrees thingy is at some times great, where you're really looking around everywhere to see what's going on. All in all however, I feel they dont have it nailed yet. For instance we saw Bono's face only one very short time, and at some times we were simply staring at an empty part of the stage (or the video screens) because our sight was blocked by the drawbridge (which they really didnt use enough.. much more fun can be had with that).
The sound in the Arena is not that bad if you're upclose to the stage, but therewas and always will be an echo in there. Though it seemed better than in 2005.
Highlights for me were Magnificent Unknown caller, Unforgettable fire, In a little while and Ultraviolet. Crazy tonight in that godawful dance version was a big letdown (I love the album version of that).
Let's hope for some surpises tomorrow!!
