Originally, I am from Saddle River, New Jersey (Go Rebels), but I find myself with my history and math classes in Amsterdam. Because my students are doing so well, I treated them to a U2 show. My students know my love for U2, and some of my students like them; however, not all of them are into the band.
First off, I would like to tell you that Bono sounds wonderful. I was especially impressed with his singing during Unforgettable Fire. Unknown Caller made the hairs on my legs stand. The guitar solo is simply remarkable. A wonderful show.
I would also like to comment on the wonderful concession stand. While I spent quite an astounding amount of money, this is the only place I know of where I can have a beer,a joint, and a salad. This seemed very odd to me. After all, I am a fat American. LOL
