wow. this was a very interesting show to say the least. the choice of opening acts was very ecclectic. good idea though, this way fans of say Public Enemy who'd never heard U2 or The Sugarcubes might actually like what they heard and vice versa. high points for me:
1) seeing U2 perform (obviously...heh). amazing set that should've gone on a bit longer...
and they still couldn't reach George Bush...
2) The Sugarcubes (i believe this was one of their last US performances prior to bjork going solo)
3) Public Enemy (this was in support for Fear of a Black Planet, although i'm more partial "It Takes A nation Of millions..." great versions of Bring The Noise, Fight The Power and I Can't Do Nothin' For Ya Man)
4) the entire stage show/layout/design. i think more shows need to be like this. everyone needs a bit of sensory overload every once in a while to help break of the monotony of day to day life.
