What a night. It had it all. I even rained. The buzz of U2 was all over Ausralia, and they were on their way to Brisbane. I had seen U2 twice, on the Lovetown tour, but this was going to be big. It wasn't a concert, it was an event. Zoo Sation, was brilliant. Highlights for me were Until The End Of The World, Tryin TO Throw YOur Arms< Satillite Of Love and Running To Stand Still. U2 confirmed to me that they were still the greatest band in the world. Sure they didn't play some classics, but so what. What songs should they leave out? I remember the thumping bass of New Years Day and thinking I hope the whole world could hear this. Phoning Allan Border was fantastic. As Bono started Can't Help...it started to rian, but no one left. What a night. 1993 what a great year.
