The band mixed the set up quite a lot from the first night, but I'm not sure it really worked to be honest.
The 2nd night crowd was much quieter than the first night - Bono had to work really hard to get much response. I suspect the band sensed it was a bit flat. There was no "Here us coming Lord..." at the end of One and no "Shine like stars..." at the end of With or Without You.
Was great to hear All I Want is You, but Love Rescue Me was like a lead balloon. The band really struggled with it and the crowd didn't know it.
A shame we had to miss out on Bad and I Still Haven't Found... They were definite highlights from the first night.
While it didn't reach the heights of the first night, it was still a great gig. This tour is a huge improvement on the Vertigo tour. Bono's voice is as good as it has ever been, the band is on fire and they look like they're really enjoying themselves.
