Wow!...What can I say, This was my 2nd show, The first being 4-20-01. I had awesome seats for the first show, but I wanted to be in that heart, last night, I was number 97, but hung out with the people back in 111-119, and of course we made it into the heart.
Arrived at the arena at 0800, and started meeting many many cool people and exchanged some cool stories about U2 and other people we've seen. Once it came time to be let into the parking lot and head to the line a few of us had decided to stick together the rest of the day. So we hung out in line and time just flew by, drinkin some beers, meeting some killer people, and just having a great time. Hell even made a beer run with one of the people I met, even funnier though, we took orders for like 6 diffrent people in line. I can't say enough about the people we met, just freakin awesome, a true experience.
Soon after, We got inside, what a rush walking inside the heart, (no pun intended) but my heart was just racing...(For those of you who seen, I was the one who was refuising to eat the hot dog in the center of the heart, and was the one chucking the napkins at my friends.)
No Doubt kicked some ARSE and Gwen (WHAT A HOTTIE) was NICE!!!
U2 put on a hell of a show, Bono's face during the feedback (one of the earlier names of the band) from Edges guitar was classic. Larry didn't seem into the show, Adam was typical Adam, Bono, what can you say. 4-20 was the better show, but being in that heart is just incrediable. The few of us that hung out the whole day and throughout the show were just slapping hands and hugging throughout the show...What an experince...
I'll see you in Sacto on Tues, I won't be in the heart this time, but at least I'll be there.
One last thing...When Bono started reading the names of the fallen off the screens, was extremely touching....
Once again, U2 has taken us to a higher ground, and for 2 hours or so, I think there was one family of about 20,000 strong...
U2 fans are the best, and only one band can turn 20,000 individuals into one giant family...God bless U2
