I was experiencing a mild anxiety while driving to the show last night. Friday's show had a strange feel to it (more the crowds fault than the bands) and I didn't know what to expect last night. My wife and I took our 5 year old son to the show as a birthday present. My anxiety was unnecessary because the strangeness I had perceived from the
previous night was not in evidence. This was the best show I have ever seen and that goes back over 30 years of going to rock and roll shows
Highlites for me were: LAPOE is awesome as an opener, the transition from Into the Heart to
COBL and bringing the girl onto the elipse (Bono: "Put your arms up in the air. Look up" Girl: as the confetti comes down to opening notes of COBL "Wow"), Miracle Drug, RTSS (dedicated to brave American men and women?)
Words don't really do it justice. Just an amazing show that I will be basking in the echoes of for a good long time.
