This was my 2nd U2 show. The first being at Popmart with terrible seats in the back of the Coliseum in 1997. For this show I had great seats in the luxury suites, which my brother got though his work. We were right smack in the middle of the place with a good view of the show. The crowd in the luxury suite section were a bit more tame, but still a good place to watch.
The show was great! They did a lot of new things in the show. They played ¡°Kite¡± and ¡°Stay¡± which weren¡¯t on the earlier tours dates. Bono was really up for the show and his voice sounded great. I really thought ¡°New York¡± was cool. A lot of people don¡¯t like that song, but once you take it in live the way the do it with the art stuff, you¡¯ll see what I mean. The climax was ¡°Bad¡± and then ¡°Streets¡±. I also thought ¡°The Fly¡± was cool. It was much harder and Bono was really animated. The crowd, at that point, was a bit worn out, so remember to pace yourself because U2 has a lot of awesome songs to enjoy later in the encores like ¡°One¡± and ¡°With or Without You¡± and the closer ¡°Walk On¡± which I think has a cool guitar.
I wish I could go again, but don¡¯t have any tics. I would have gladly paid $100 to see this show, but luckily I went for free, thanks to my bro. If your reading this, thanks again Tim for taking me. I won¡¯t ever forget it.
