The show was REALLY GREAT, exactly as I expected!
Let me tell you something about it: They sang "Desire", playing together with a "samba school" (it's a kind of percussion group that plays this well-known rhythm for us, they played on the stage, "sambing" with Bono at the same time); Bono danced "samba" and put on a "samba school" t-shirt; Edge sang "Sunday Bloody Sunday", dedicating to us because it was ever the FIRST gig in South America U2 made.
They went out from the mirror ball wearing the uniform of our football (soccer) team, yellow and green (cause we are the world champion), the t-shirts got the name of each one on the back and the number was 10 for them all, like real football players. Bono was holding a football/soccer mirror ball. He thanked us for spending lots of time in a traffic jam and spoke portuguese correctly with us.
We could notice that he was very tired at the end of the gig. After they left the stage, it started to play "Never tear us apart" (INXS). There really was a great confusion outside the autodrome, some fans arrived at the end because of the big traffic jam that went on in the city.
POPMART IS A SUCCESS ALL OVER THE PLANET!!!!!!!!!
