by Eddie Hargreaves
Mofo: Bono really pumped up the crowd and did some great moves, but the song is a little muddled live.
I Will Follow: They cut the bridge, but it kept the song rocking. A lot of fans were surprised and the crowed was delighted.
Even Better Than The Real Thing: The Arch had some awesome effects, as did the olive.
Do You Feel Loved: A great single and epitome of the album.
Pride: Seemed awkward this early, but everyone loved it and sang along with Bono.
I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For: An excellent version with a slow start and then drums kick in. Bono added a falsetto coda that was great.
Last Night On Earth/Gone: These two were disappointing for me. But the band did some serious jamming. Needs work.
Until The End Of The World: An excellent live piece, it was augmented by a guitar "battle" on the catwalk between Bono & the Edge
If God Will Send His Angels: Only sang 1-2 verses w/ Bono & Edge and then stopped. Needs a little more tweaking.
Staring At the Sun: Started awkwardly, but worked out great eventually. Interesting version.
Miami: Wow. Bono is a real showman during this one and Edge cranks out the guitar.
Bullet The Blue Sky: A real groovy beat is added and it's a live classic. West Side story ending added. Cool.
Please/Sunday Bloody Sunday: This song is great live, but the audience didn't seem into it. The Sunday Bloody Sunday tease was fun, but it should be the whole song.
Where the Streets Have No Name: It never gets old. New intro added and great light effects. One of the best.
Discotheque: I liked the cool disco-floor effect and the Howie B/Hairy B rap at the end. Good guitar work from Edge.
With or Without You: Was segued in from Discotheque. Awesome. Added ending just kept going. Crowd-pleaser.
Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me: Excellent live, but the intro guitar effects were too soft. A real rocker.
Mysterious Ways/One: These songs were mostly the same from Zoo TV, but still excellent. New TV effects are great.
