Well what can I say? I got to see my favorite band in concert for the very first time. It has taken me some time to gather my thoughts on the concert. It was an amazing spectacle. U2 have the true essence of performers. They put on an amazingly huge show but still kept in touch with their audience.

From the front row to the back, everyone got a great show. The sound system was great and the songs worked beautifully. What really caught my attention is the make up of the crowd. Young and old came out to see this one band from Dublin play their music. I think in a way U2 is a generation bridge in world full of ever-rapidly increasing generation gaps. Different social groups and ages came together on one night and sang in unison. We sang with Bono on "Pride", and with the Edge to "Daydream Believer". 30,000+ came together on one special night and for 2 1/2 hours were all apart of something very special that I think everyone who was in Autzen stadium that night will never forget. I think that's what makes U2's music so good. After hearing them play live and seeing them perform, all their music sounds better. It means more to me now. I urge any U2 fan to go to one concert on the tour to see for yourselves the magic and beauty that U2 can create with their music. It's worth it!
