All the elements missing yesterday were simply just there tonight to make it one of those “truly special nights”. U2 put one hell of an extraordinary performance tonight. The setlist was fine tuned with some order arrangements which felt good, an acoustic version of Stuck in a Moment made a nice appearance and Fast Cars just came to show how much more relaxed they were tonight. The interaction amongst Bono and Edge was there (not last night I’m afraid) and I believe that was one of the big differences. The crowd was amazing. Original of the Species was superbly performed tonight. The messages being delivered were there and the passion was felt. Love and Peace-Sunday-Bullet ending with Miss Sarajevo were masterfully, honestly and passionately played. Took my dad for his first ever U2 concert which was the “icing in the cake”, love you Dad!.... quite simply an unforgettable night.
