Finally after 8 years!!
What can I say they were a fantastic shows (the both of them), well i must admit the second one was better than the first one, because the first date the band look pretty nervous and they even made many mistakes during songs like Mysterious ways or the opening City of blinding lights, but we didn't care, and people sang as hard as they can, every song even the not very known Fast cars. The setlist was similar to the first night with a a couple of changes and it was closer to the indoor set than the outdoor set that they played in Europe, the setlist was:
City of Blinding Lights (Beautiful, and the first time during the tour that they begin with this one)
Vertigo (one of the highlights of the night with the audience singing .."uno, dos, tres, catorce" and w/ a bit of She loves you)
Elevation (one of the highlights of the night I think, with that intro of people singing the first verse and chorus, without drums and bass)
Until The End of the World
New Year’s Day (they hadn't played it since Lisbon)
I Still Haven’t Found What I am Looking For
Beautiful Day
Stuck in a Moment (awesome!! with Bono and Edge playing acoustically and then near the end Larry and Adam add to the song)
Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own (.."para mi padre", Bono said)
Love and Peace or Else (my favorite from the new album and with Larry playing in one of the B-stages)
Sunday Bloody Sunday
Bullet The Blue Sky (great Edge's solo)
Miss Sarajevo (the best moment of the night began here Bono singing the tenor part and Edge playing piano)
..then after that and with Declaracion de los Derechos HUmanos on the screen, they ran into..
Pride in the Name of Love (people were singing so loud)
Where the Streets have no Name (here we all went crazy on that one, fantastic!!!)
One (we all wee waiting for this moment and it didn't dissapointed us)
The first encore began with the Zoo TV opening:
Zoo Station
The Fly
Mysterious Ways (wit a girl on stage)
With or Without You
Fast Cars (Edge acoustic guitar failed at the begginig of the song)
Original (I think the best live song from the new LP)
“40” (what final could be better than this? Edge took the bass and Adam the guitar i couldn't ask for more)
the songs that changed were:
the bit of Norwegian wood before Original
and the second encore with
All Because of You
Yahweh (a great acoustic version)
...by the way what a great openning act The Secret machines are fantastic!!
