WOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!!!
A great show, a memorable night, full of magic and emotions. This was my 2nd concert in this tour. I went to Mexico City just by myself, and it was all worth it!!!! (I want to thank God for giving me the opportunity to go)
80,000 souls singing and making the band feel at home, they know we love them, and we did make sure they felt that way. The songs I liked the most: City of Blinding Lights, Vertigo, Beautiful Day (Cielito Lindo appeared again), of course Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own, Miss Sarajevo (Bono sang Pavoratti's part) and One. Zoo Station and The Fly were great also.
This time I got GA Tickets and it was so much better!, I had to spend the night outside the Azteca Stadium, I made good friends there, all of them really cool. Since we were there hours before the security crew allowed us enter the stadium (almost 15 hours!!), we got great spots, you can see where I was with the images I posted here, I didn't believe I was there until I saw Bono coming down the ellipse in our direction.
Bono and The Edge were using a lot the Ellipse, Adam walked through it a few times, Larry just once. Actually, something funny happened when Adam was walking there, he realized I was doing this great over-human effort to get a picture of him playing the bass (I was trying not to use the zoom), and he slowly approached towards my position and he stayed still for a moment (just the enough seconds for me to take the picture), but when I tried to do so, the phone didn't work!!!!!, then he just winked his eye like saying to me "there you go, boy. There's your picture" and walked away. That would have been a great picture. Bad luck I guess. I still could take some good pictures though.
Thank you U2 for a memorable night, I'll never forget it.
Thanks everybody who supported me in this adventure. (And I mean the people in Monterrey and Mexico City)
