After seeing Elevation 18 times on the first two legs I was excited to see some of the new treatments and we were not disappointed. As a big fan of the Marvin Gaye album What's Going On I was happy to see this song performed lived for the first time. The Edge's guitar work in combo with Bonos' revised lyrics was beautiful.
U2 again illustrated their commitment to their fans by bringing up a fan to play guitar on Knockin On Heaven's door. He was great.
Bono apparently told some fans in the GA line to expect some surprises and that unfolded with a brillian version of Please.
Other highlights for me were Angel of Harlem, Staring at the Sun, Out of Control, and a revised version of New York.
As usual a 10.
Thanks, U2.
