Fantastic night. Q'd all night for tickets on Union Street / Boots corner. Dead excited for weeks before hand. Waited outside the Barras for hours to ensure a good position and some guy offered me a weeks wages to buy my ticket....no way...I was going in!!!! The Barrowlands was packed, the atmosphere electric. The sprung floor of the old ballroom made jumping seem so much easier. Roasting hot as the air con probably hasn't been updated since the 60's. Then Bono said "open the doors and let some air in" ... the Glaswegian bouncers had allegedly understood "open the doors and let some mair in"....so the doors were opened to allow more people in to the already jam packed venue. All the classics were played but a personal favorite of mine was Bad and Sort of Homecoming
