First, the U2 show was outstanding. The dudes gave it their all, and looked both triumphant and exhausted by the end. Second, there were few technical glitches (like Bono thanking the crew just before an eruption of speaker feedback) but they were minor. Third, There were hundreds more inpirational moments, such as the masked procession, Edge's solos and Adam and Larry's orbits of the arc. Perhaps these were due to the presence of Edge's folks or Bill & Melinda Gates, but the band rocked. Last, somewhat surprisingly, the tunes off NLOTH are much, much better live - such as MOS and Crazy. Thanks too to the Irish dudes who particularly enjoyed SBS. The next brew is on us. Enjoy the shots from a short person in the scrum.
