Fantastic show. I hadn't seen them since 1985 (The Unforgettable Fire Tour, Ottawa), and this was a real treat. Everytime I heard a great tune, I thought - okay, we can leave now. And then they'd play another great tune. The acoustics from the floor were pretty reasonable. I've been to shows at GM Place, The Orpheum and The Commodore (all in Vancouver), and I didn't think the sound was worse or better. In fact, the way "the claw" was set up, the sound was probably as good as you could hear in BC Place.
And for all you naysayers out there, park your negativity at the door. Your comparing and contrasting of this show versus that show is tiresome. For the vast majority of us who hadn't seen U2 in a long time (or never), this was a thrilling experience. Don't spoil it.
