Wow! Every once in a while you have one of those days in which you can only shake your head in disbelief as to what you are witnessing in front of you. Last night was definitely one of those nights! From being lucky enough to meet Larry and Bono before the show to somehow winding up in the first row inside the heart right by the Edge (who gave a friendly wink to my wife)! One word describes the night, perfect.
My one and only concern was how the whole GA into the heart situation developed. Without boring you with details all I will say is that come 6:00 (or earlier) be prepared to make a mad dash for the door no matter where you lined up or what time you got there.
Besides that, security did an outstanding job, there was very little pushing and shoving in the first row. Just an outstanding group of fans who belted out every word of every song in sheer joy. I have never seen so many smiles at a concert in my life.
Thanks to all of you for your enlightening posts and thanks to U2 for having a genuine interest in your fans. You have a fan in me for life!
