Elevation 2001 at Bradley Center in Milwaukee....a good night!
I have been to two shows now on this tour; the first being the Minneapolis Target Center show. I have to say that Bono sounded a bit scratchy last night, esp during his speaking parts. Overall an OK show....the crowd at Bradley was at times FULLY into the show, going completely mad. Other times they were out getting hot dogs & beer and/or not into some of the songs (Desire I think was one that lost the crowd). New to the setlist (at least for me) was "Gone" from Pop, which was good to hear once again in a live setting.
My seats for this show were the "midrange" Propaganda tix which were disappointing at first due to being far from the stage on the lower-level (right near Wille Williams & Joe O'Hearly's location). However as the show took over and got into more of the production aspects with lighting and such, the seats were not half bad. I was able to see the arena as a whole with light touching the crowd -- VERY COOL! For those who have yet to see Elevation, YOU ARE IN FOR A TREAT!!!!!
