I have seen U2 around 15 times going back to The October Tour and I have to say that I was very disappointed in this show. They just did not seem ready to be playing yet. This seems to be the norm with these guys unfortunatly. Why does it take weeks or months for them to get up to full speed? They really need to do more warm-up gigs or something. They were sloppy at times and had not figured out how to end certain songs. Also with this great space age looking stage they played too many old songs and not enough of their more interesting one from the Achtung/Zoopopa/Pop era. Get On Your Boots is a bad throwaway. Pride, With Or Without You & Sunday Bloody Sunday need to be retired. It was however nice to hear Ultraviolet & The Unforgettable Fire. The whole space station hookup was a total waste oe time and the I'll Go Crazy remix version was awful. I'll see them again in Sept in NJ. I hope they are a lot better by then.
