This was an incredible show, at Toronto's Exhibition stadium by Lake Ontario. It was an end of the summer celebration of sorts for me and my friends, on a perfect warm early September night....That same weekend, my friends and I had all skydived, I think the day before the concert, so the four of us were all pretty jacked up that weekend....jumping out of a plane one day, and all of us looking forward to seeing the U2 concert the next day.....!
We were in the stands, pretty good seats...I remember the opening number, "Zoo Station", being just incredible - and extremely loud. I was transfixed by the red screens setup behind the band - flashing really fast images and messages and words at breakneck speed...one of the many standout moments of the night was when they did "Bad", an amazing version of Bad....I also felt a highlight was "Even Better than the real thing", because at that time, that was one of my favorite tunes from that album....I had already been a diehard fan for years, but this was the first time I saw U2, and it was really powerful show........
